1 out of 3 pet owners disagree with pet boarding

Nearly 33 percent of pet owners said they've had a bad experience boarding a pet, and more then 12 percent said they had more then one bad experience, according to a poll of 1,133 pet owners.

About half of pet owners stated their biggest concern with kennel boarding was their pets' emotional health, citing issues such as depression and separation anxiety. Approximately 20 percent were most concerned with their pets' emotional physical health due to transmission of airborne diseases.

More then four of five pet owners said in-home sitting is their preferred method of care.
